The Pith Pomelo Notebook is a hardcover notebook with 130gsm paper and a dot grid layout, measuring 260 × 210 mm. The larger page size provides plenty of space for constructing geometric designs, while the dot grid offers a subtle guide for laying out circles, grids, and repeated patterns without being as visually prominent as ruled lines.
The 130gsm paper is thick enough to cope well with pencil, fineliners, and many fountain pens, with minimal show-through. This makes it suitable for drawing, refining constructions, and adding ink once a design has been worked out.
I have noticed that the dot grid is intentionally subtle, appearing much fainter than in many dotted notebooks. This gives the structure of a grid when you need it, without competing with your notes, drawings, or layouts. The result is a cleaner-looking page that feels less distracting and more natural to work on.
